After spending two months traveling around Europe with my husband and our baby boy – who was just four months old when we embarked – on an unconventional paternity leave, I decided to create this space to share about our adventures. Whether you're interested in what it's like traveling with a baby, how to pack in just a carry on, or globally-inspired home decor and fashion, Dérive is the place for you.
I (re)started this space in 2020 because I believe in the transformative experience of travel, both locally and globally.
My style is free of bright colors, trends, or fast fashion. I love the details, like rich fabrics and striking silhouettes.
After living nomadically with my travel nurse spouse for five years and working for the queen of tidy (Marie Kondo), my less-is-more roots run deep.
Obviously! I've visited 40+ countries and every continent except Antarctica (top of my bucket list!).
Our sweet baby boy was born in fall 2019, completing our family.
My husband and I met working as summer camp counselors over 10 years ago.
The Maker of all that surrounds me and the core of who I am.
